Ed O’Neill Makes Surprise Expletive-Filled Appearance on Daughter Claire’s TikTok: ‘This Was His Idea’

Ed O’Neill is full of hilariously great ideas.

In a recent TikTok video posted to his youngest daughter Claire's account, the actor, 78, proudly stood behind her as they mouthed the words to the intro of 2Pac's "Hit Em Up."

The video begins with Claire alone on screen, wearing a brown leather jacket. She looks steadily at the camera with her hair in a ponytail.

Her father, wearing a gray beret, an orange shirt and what appeared to be gray slacks, came on screen and mouthed the next bridge of the song.

He then makes a silly face as he nods his head. Claire mouths the following words of the song while moving from side to side.

"This was his idea," Claire wrote in the caption.

In the comment section, fans couldn't help but search for comparisons between O'Neill's TikTok persona and his Married … with Children and Modern Family characters.

"Everyone's talking about Jay from Modern Family, that's Al Bundy from Married with Children," one fan wrote. "This is definitely AL BUNDY and not Jay Pritchett," another shared.

The TikTok even got a response from O'Neill's Modern Family costar Sarah Hyland, who commented, "I AM SCREAMINGGGGGG 😂😂😂."

In addition to Claire, O'Neill is also a dad to older daughter Sophia with his wife, actress Catherine Rusoff. He and Claire previously had a father-daughter date night while attending the official launch of Hulu on Disney+ in Los Angeles in April 2024.

For the event, Claire looked elegant as she posed in a black strapless gown with a matching shawl. Her look was paired with strappy heels and her hair was worn loosely pulled back. Her father wore a blue check shirt with a blue blazer and black pants.

Later that June, Claire was also on the red carpet for her father's series Clipped.
