Hi all, new here, but that's irrelevant. I don't see a music thread. Or at least a recent one. Figured I'd start one going. Pretty much just share some music that you like or list off some bands or songs that you really enjoy. Or even talk about concerts you've gone to. Just anything music!

I'll kick it off by sharing a few bands and artists that I like.

Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana, Green Day (pre-2000), Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Johnny Cash, All American Rejects, Guns n Roses, The Beach Boys, 30 Seconds to Mars, Sigur Ros, Billy Joel, Keane, Yo La Tengo, The Cranberries.

Just a sample, but as you can see I have a grab bag of musical taste.

It's okay... I like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry...

 

I was thinking about adding those two on there, I want to go down on katy perry's snatch and gaga has some addicting "music"

 

I'd do the whole package with Katy Perry. Marriage, kids, little white house with a white picket fence... She just has that "instant love" vibe about her.

But no, typical of her to keep tradition in going with the douche bag boyfriend. Russel Brand is such an annoying fuck.

I should also mention that while I don't care for her music, Taylor Swift is damn cute.

 

I've never been a taylor swift fan, I see the appeal but her hair disturbs me for some reason.

I love Atmosphere and Brother Ali. I have the rhymesayers label tattooed on my wrist.

 

Nice. Huge Brother Ali fan. I have his last album US basically on repeat in my car.

 

I love listening to his first mixtape, then putting on US. He has progressed as an artist and a human being, by a million miles since he first started. He tells the truth, without the hate.

They just annoy me how boring and average they are. without music they'd be 9-5 office workers (no offence to office workers) its just that i want to be amazed by a band/artist and they don't do it for me. And i am very open minded in musical terms, Most of the time!
