Pyrotops and Artillatops (fakemon) (fossil)

After the original fossil discovery was made a hundred years ago the original cannon Pokemon has been reconstructed from Artillaspine and Artillatonne even revealing the origin of its own cannon in pyrotops.

the bright flame on their heads glowed for miles around alerting predators to their locations on the vast volcanic plains they made their homes. eventually they evolved away from having an exposed flame forming the cannon protrusion. they are extremely hot bodied culminated from their internal flame burning the food they eat creating smoke and their head flame.

their massive cannon was a piece of bio engineering mastery, allowing them to fire projectiles with the heat pressure from their bodies. they when threatened would form firing squads blowing predators away as shown from evidence of bones blown to pieces
